i've heard from multiple people the following:

dave is still 50/50 about going out with ed and no contracts have been signed yet

mike and sam will be at the hof to accept the award. no one will play, not even a tribute to them

wolf is definitely in if ed decides to tour, unfortunately mike is gone

things are very much still in the air. nothing is a done deal yet.

ya ya, who's yer source where's the link? we all know better guys. don't ask. there's some of us who have been here a long time and we share what we hear through other people online. rest assured the people we hear from are very ligitimate.

so again, nothing is finished yet.

As per my surce (the same that brought this to bare in October) says that it WILL happen, and that a deal is done, and contracts as of last week were on their way to all parties.

When it is signed / sealed and delivered and a go date is available, I will be advised of such.

I think all of us here know better than to get too far ahead of ourselves, especially when it comes to a VH tour. Earlier today I was listening to Sirius 19 Buzzsaw, and they played RWTD. Immediately after that, the DJ said, and I quote: "VH will be touring with Dave this summer!! Its OK, everyone, its been confirmed, breathe easy!!" I just thought to myself, man I sure hope so. "Its been confirmed, huh?"

I promise you that there will be an tribute to Van Halen, and don't be to sure about Ed showing up, though its very predictable that Mike and Sam will do it.

On a side note, it's funny, I went out of town Friday afternoon. I had no computer access and wasn't sure what was happening in VH land. I get home this afternoon thinking there may have been an offical announcemant, the web site may be updated, tour dates may have been leaked...instead nothing whatsoever has changed and now we may be back to square one.
