Would things be different if...?

Would those of you who oppose the Mike being replaced by Wolfie situation be less irritated if it were someone other than Wolfgang? What if Ed replaced Mike with someone like Flea from the Chili Peppers or something along those lines? Would it be more acceptable? I'm just curious what you all have to say on that.

I've always been an Ed fan first. The fact that Mike is not there completely sucks. I plan on being at the show, however I would feel more comfortable throwing down the bucks for the ticket knowing there was a proven commodity on bass. If not Mike, then someone we know is capable.

oh.. and it's still not a reunion..

assuming dave is on, with no mike, it's not really a reunion... with teen wolf, or any frontline bass player for that matter, maybe you call it vh, but it's still only yet another version...

It would be better if there was someone like Flea or Geddy....
but it would still SUCK.

I want a REAL CLASSIC VH REUNION. Mike is alive, healthy and always ready to play and sing. I don't see the problem. Sam would totally tell him to "go for it".
Man, all Ed or Al has to do is pick up the phone and say:

"Mike, wanna go on tour? Sorry bout the late call, but, the fans want you there, so we do to. We'll make you a good deal. Do you mind if Wolfie plays one or two with ya at the end of the show?"
Man, Mikey would be on the next plane out there.

Hehe...interesting...Flea "can't be in 2 bands though".......but then again...Chad from Chilli peppers is now doing a side project with Sam and mike... so Flea probably does have some time on his hands!
