After Eddie split with Peavey I did not expect to see him play Wolfgangs again.

So what guitar(s) do you think he'll use on the upcoming tour?

Given the hype around the Frankie lately I can only assume we'll be seeing that one. Shit, I hope so. May as well bring this thing all the way old school and there's no better way to do that than to break out the Frankie.

I don't think we will see the Frankie's on the road. He will play the production instrument they release. There is no point in pimping shit that is already sold out. I'm sure he got a few of the guitars as part of the deal and we may see them on a few songs kind of like the Charvels on the last tour.

I think he will be playing the Frankies since its associated with CVH. No need for him to play a dual humbucker guitar like the Wolfgang because it was never used in CVH.

Just because they sold out does not mean Ed does not have 10 of them on hand to play.

Yes! Fender has a new Wolfie in the works, and Ed got a few replicas! So you will see the replica on tour, along with proto types of the new Wolfgang!! The original Frank stays home!!!!

play that ugly ass Hondo .... Please be sober !!

Also, I really don't see fans shelling out the $$
for another go round if EVH is looking to tour beyond 07
and comes out hammered. There is alot at stake for the
band if he can keep it together .... or Not ..

I think for some fans EVH has had more thyan a few chances to prove his worth. I'm still interested in what the guys does, though; and my bias will always make me give what he does a shot. You're probably right, however; if he comes out playing crazy-sloppy on the still-to-be '07 tour, it will alienate a lot of fans.

Then... the Hondo endorsement.
