600 bucks (Canuck money) to see Ed play what? in soundcheck this time around? Is he gonna play Hagar songs in sound check this time? No doubt the sound check will probably go down as the best experience of my life not counting the show that followed, but for this defunct reunion... I don't think so.

If Mikey was there I'd easily pay 600 bucks for the 5 Star again. Because if Mikey was there it would be historical to be front row for the biggest reunion in rock history. But being there now would be amazing... but doesn't seem right.

I met Alex, Eddie, Mike and Gary at NY's Virgin Megastore in 1997-8. All of them were very cool with Mike and Gary being the coolest. I talked to Mike for about 10 minutes, showed him a pic in my wallet of a banner I'd painted being held up by them on stage. He remembered the show and arena. Gary was the reason I even met them at all. The line was 500 people long and I was way back. They were below us a few flights down. I had a huge EVH drawing my brother had made and he saw it and gave me the thumbs up. When I motioned to him how far back we were on line, he spoke to one of his security people and ushered me and my friend to the front of the line, where we met them all and got autographs. I met Dave at a radio station once--there was maybe 5 of us out there and he was a typical dick, refusing to sign things and brushing us off. He got a little karma back when his limo backed into the wall of the radio station as he was leaving, this delaying his exit as the police were called. LOL As for Alex, he seemed cool in the above mentioned Virgin meeting. I will try to scan my pix since this was pre-digital
