PX3 Pandora by toneworks Korg
Does anyone own this multi effects processor? I've had it for quite a while, and haven't used it in a long time. I hate the way these effect boxes sound. I know that the newer units like the pod xt live and similar units are much easier to use, and also have patches available online, to recreate whatever sound you are looking for. I think the reason I bought it way back when, was becuase there was a preset that said EDDIE. Its a great sound, but I love the sound out of my amp much more, and I never figured out how to use it properly with the 5150 combo amp.
Does anyone have any cheat sheets for the PX3? I was just looking randomly online, but couldn't find anything.
Or if anyone owns this thing and uses it, let me know your thoughts on it.
thanksMoney can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a yacht big enough to pull up right alongside it. DLR

I've used this unit for years......mostly just for computer recording and/or practicing. I wouldn't use it for gigs or run it through my 5150 stack or anything, but it works well for what I need it to do......JMO

I own one ...
The PX3 is a nice practice headphone amp and in a pinch can be a useful effects unit, but I'm not that thrilled with it either. When I first got it, I ran it between my guitar and my JCM800 clone (with the gain in a clean mode on the amp). It was pretty acceptable that way because it took on some of the tonal charateristics of the host amplifier, but yeah, I was never sold on the tone of the Korg itself.
I keep it in my gig backback for tuning up & warming up & practicing on headphones. Runs through batteries real quick though.
If you have questions, you can PM me and ask. I'm always glad to help if i can.
