NEW THREADS...PLEASE READ

Obviously the coming months will have much to discuss. I've stickied the thriving threads for easy access. If your point will fit a stickied thread, please put it there...that's the best way to be read. Scotty closed several threads today because they could have fit in established threads...Please keep the threads organized.

NEWBIES, first of all, welcome aboard. Secondly, if you want to be heard and get yourself established, the best way to do that is to join existing conversations and move them forward. If you see something that looks cool and isn't in a thread, by all means, start a thread.

OLD TIMERS...DON'T GET PISSED IF YOUR THREAD IS MERGED OR CLOSED! IT AIN'T PERSONAL...THERE WILL BE MANY VISITORS AND NEW MEMBERS COMING ABOARD...WE NEED TO BE ORGANIZED...EVERYONE LOVES YOU!

MEDIA TYPES...Now we have organized the threads better so it will be easier for you to find 'insider sources' and make your deadlines...

If I may remind everyone of Sacto's original post...

By my last count, 13 of the first 25 threads in this forum are closed. That is insane. There is NO REASON to start new threads for every fleeting thought or opinion you have about the band, the tour, Mike, Wolfgang, Ed's mental state, how bad the mods are or how poorly Eddie's being treated by members of this website.

Also, most "major news" items are posted here by somebody within minutes of hitting the net. It would do the board much good if you used the search function or at least browsed the last page of topic titles before posting something you believe is new. If the item is more than a day old, you can be ASSURED it has found its way here already.

The posting of random thoughts, duplicate topics and mindless crap is out of hand, guys. PLEASE use better judgment so we can attempt to maintain a clean, organized forum.

With an influx of VH news, analysis and opinion related to the upcoming tour (again), please adhere to our policy of avoiding starting duplicate or pointless threads. Simple rule of thumb: If it isn't NEW news, or doesn't pose a fresh perspective on an old discussion, it isn't a candidate for a new thread. Add to existing threads whenever possible.
