Best back-to-back albums
What is the best back-to-back album releases by an artist? Now remember they have to have been back-to-back. Not an artists' 2nd release and then the 4th.
For me it's got to be the Beatles.
Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
followed by
Magical Mystery Tour.
What a one-two punch!

Queensryche actually hit a back-to-back-back with "Rage", "Mindcrime" and "Empire". Then it went to shit, but that was a good roll.
By the way, I'm not real good with baby-steps. My specialty is ass-kicking. -DLR

I think Revolver (U.K.) - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is a better duo, especially if you only count Magical Mystery Tour as an EP!
Lessee - Aerosmith Toys In The Attic - Rocks
Foreigner Foreigner - Double Vision
AC/DC - Highway To Hell - Back In Black (with an unfortunately necessitated change in singers to boot!)
Led Zeppelin (the fourth album) - Houses Of The Holy
Fleetwood Mac Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
that's all I can think of right now without looking! If you like what you see here, please click here to donate!

First one that came to mind was HTH/BNB by AC/DC. Another great combo was Scenes From A Memory followed by Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence from Dream Theater.

I know this isn't back to back because of the 2 ep's but Alice in Chains Facelift-Dirt combo is good but the 2 ep's are good also as a back to back. Also Stevie Ray Vaughn's Texas Flood and Couldn't Stand the Weather is a great combo also.
