Unlikely that he would, but there may be something to VH not wanting to ignore the second half of their catalog. So on the tour-to-be we may hear a couple of those songs, but not necessarily sung by Dave.

With Eddie burning so many bridges and slapping so many people in the face, how harlarious would it be to see Dave sing a couple of the tracks off 5150 in their original form with his lyrics and melodies? It wouldn't be much of an insult to Sam figuring that the riffs are Ed's... Dave would just be using his lyrics over Ed's riffs.

Ed used the Stompin 8H riff on numerous occasions... I Want Some Action w/ Sam and Dirty Water Dog w/ Gary.

The one good thing about this tour will be hearing CVH tunes not done in 20 years being played. Who wants them to throw in Finish What Ya Started or Why Can't This Be Love just for the sake of having some Sam tunes in the set? The songs have been played out and probably wouldn't sound great with Dave giving full effort, let alone the half assed effort he'd probably put into it. Plus for however many Sam era songs they did, that's that many less Dave era songs we'll hear.

If this Dave reunion somehow lasts, which I doubt, then this is a bridge they may have to cross eventually but not this year, not this tour.
