Yeah I just read this on the G3 site. Paul Gilbert eh? Never heard any of his stuff but he sounds pretty cool. I cant get enough of Petrucci though. Glasgow Kiss is almost orgasmic hehe. I wonder if Vai was busy or just didnt want to go this time?

Achievements:
Well, the show last night was INCREDIBLE! First night on the tour, and if this is before they smooth the edges, the later shows will knock your socks off. 4 hours of sonic boom - had seats first row in the pit, just right of center. Met Joe before the show. You couldn't meet a nicer guy who really loves what he does. Paul Gilbert echoed that sentiment, thanking everyone there for coming to watch him do what he loves to do. And Petrucci? Wow. I never saw him in person before, now I know why they didn't need any security up front - the guy is built like a linebacker.
Highly recommend going to this thing. I got some photos taken by Joe's photo guy, should have them in about a week.Nothing to see here.
