Induction in trouble of not being broadcast?

I did a very quick search for this topic as I have to get to work ASAP. I couldn't find any news on it, but if this is a free post just close the thread. Found this at FMQB.com:

Will this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony be seen on TV? The New York Daily News reports that the Hall's TV contract with VH1 has expired and it is weighing options as to if it will be televised. R.E.M., Van Halen, Patti Smith, Grandmaster Flash and the Ronettes will be inducted into the Hall on March 12.

there's a couple of threads somewhere... vh1's rights ran out... the rrhof was somewhat pissed about the 'rock honors' show they created... pbs was going to do it but at last check vh1 was back in the game...

This news was posted yesterday over at FMQB.com. I looked on vh1.com and can't find any news about them airing the ceremonies.

vh1 just got the rights back to showing the rrhof right after pbs failed to purchase it.

at least thats what I've read.
