No Big Sammy Tour In States For Summer

Well no big summer tour for sammy and the wabos. only a cruise and a few shows in his restaurant. He said on his site. Recording music with chad smith and mike anthony in a new band. Planning for 60 next year with new music and anew stage design. wait to next year can't wait for the van halen reunion with roth. still a great summer even though no sammy tour.

I know the Wabo's aren't up to any touring this coming summer, but I have a little bummer/dilemma of my own coming up pretty soon:
My wife and I are going to be in Cabo March 3-8!!!! We've had it booked since November, so that's cool. However, the March 16 show from Sammy and the Wabos in Cabo will just be missed by us, and if tickets for the tour with Roth go on sale in a similar time frame as the '04 tour, I might not be back in time to hop on my high speed internet to fight for good tix. Cross that bridge when it comes, I guess.

I haven't seen Sammy since '02. String to have been too long...

I wonder if part of sam's decision not to tour was simply a business decision based on the VH tour--no competition or conflict of interest with Mike possibly being out with him. Who knows...
