So according to the Rolling stone piece, they are readying a new album? Is this gonna be before the tour or after the tour?

If a new album is indeed planned, it might change my prospective on this band "just a little" but not much. I still think they should do a ep before the tour, just to give us new light on the new incarnation (again).

Ed said something like "theres gotta be another out there that has a voice" if Dave wont re-join.

Well well well, what about John Corabi, the best singer in the last 15 years.
He sung at his porn party with Eddie on stage. Why not do something with him.

The trouble is Johns a everyday guy and the nicest rock star I've met.
Could he put up with Eddie.

Have you heard unions "Blue room" album, awesome stuff!!!! Put him with Eddie, we could have a rockin album.

The new music will be post summer tour...and still might involve Roth.
I suppose it may come down to how things go this year.

He doesn't. He likes to make it seem like a source. Really its just silly optimism. His posts are nothing but excitable speculation.

I can't remember the last time JINY made a post with real insight. Its all bouncing smiles for him with no proof to his "rumors". In a sense, his optimism is inspiring, but the fact that he gets a hard one from hearing Ed's name is also rather pathetic.

Corabi kicked ass in the Crüe. The whole album is far too underrated. Just sounded too different for them and obviously the world wasn't ready for that. He's a great talent. Fit for Van Halen? Probably not. That "Hot For Teacher" DID kick ass, but really, I can't see him singing "Panama" or "Dance The Night Away" all too well.

Plus, John's a guitar player, and we KNOW how Ed feels about having competition on stage.

If ANYONE would front a new Van Halen, my pick is Chris Cornell. Looks like Audioslave is down the drain and it doesn't seem like Soundgarden's gonna pick up the pieces and reunite. But at this point, its Dave or the Grave now.
