Ed to be on Letterman?

Don't know if this is true or not - in a nutshell, I've got a friend who works Gibson, he's got a friend that works at Fender. He was told that Ed was going to sit in with the band on Letterman sometime around the HOF induction. I have my doubts, but just maybe...

Well he's done it before, the CBS Orchestra is the house-band for the RRHOF industion ceremonies and he will be in town around the time of the induction ceremony. Doesn't sond all that far-fetched....

i could see that happening... although i wish that we would get a band appearance out of it... or members different members of the band making impromptu appearances on the show as a running joke the way regis (and tony randall used to [rip]) shows up for a walkthrough gag...

Sounds believable to me. Paul Schaffer always has a hardon for great musicians sitting in with the band.

Why the heck not. I could see it happening too. The promo situation will be in high gear as the tour will probably go onsale around that time (March, as it did in 2004). At least, that's what I'd guess.

Also, this is my first post in years. I remember earlier in the decade when every good rumor would be false. Now it feels like all of them turn out true.
