    Default Phoenix Area Stores

Hey guys, any of you in the Phoenix area know of a good store/repair shop? I really dislike Guitar Center and since I've moved here from East Texas I have no idea where to look for a good music store and repair shop.

    Thanks for the help.
    Your favorite band sucks.

I go Noteworks on 16th street & Bell rd. (North Phoenix) they're pretty good, setups are a little expensive though... Or AZ music at 34th st and bell is pretty good too.

yea the guys name is Ron Puter he used to work at Allstar music in Mesa then changed jobs to somewhere in PHX and I can't remember the name of the music store, I have been trying to get ahold of him at home but he hasn't returned my calls yet.
if your wondering about his qualifications he is Esteban's personal guitar tech
and he builds from total scratch both electric and acoustic and his rates are standard he just like everyone elses and he does top notch work, he used to handle any extra load that I couldn't he'd always help me out.
btw what trouble do you have maybe I can help ?
I live in Mesa email me rol@rolsguitars.com

When I lived in Phoenix, I used to shop at Bizarre Guitar:

    http://www.bizarreguitar.net

And for repairs, etc., Precision Guitar:

    http://www.precisionguitar.net

I haven't been to either of these places in over a year and a half, and I see Precision Guitar is under new ownership......so, I'm not sure how good these places are anymore. But, if you're near there, wouldn't hurt to check them out.

Rol, you have a shop in Mesa? I'm looking for someone to do set-ups/repairs on my guitars.

Precision Guitar was amazing, I haven't had any work done by the new guys, so if you do get anything done there let us know!
