what will come first! van halen's supposed dave tour announcement (4-17-07?) sans mikey this year or axl's cover band album chinese democracy (3-6-07).

it will be a race to the finish. id say those are the two biggest musical news deals this year other than dio back with sabbath. and id also say that both halen and axl news wont come until long after may or june is over. time will tell halen friends! hopefully this wait will be worth it.

Van Halen is more Van Halen than Guns N Roses is Guns N Roses. At least VH has kept 3 of the original 4 members at all times. Just because Axl bullied the other guys out of the band name rights years ago, doesn't make it Guns N F'in Roses. Think I'll wait for the new Velvet Revolver cd this summer.

Nahhh, I think a VH announcement will come by late March, and the tour will kick off end of May. I mean, if Wolfgang is definitely going to play bass they have to get the show on the road as soon as he gets out of school for the summer cause he has to go right back mid August.

Am I right?

dio is back with iommi, geezer and vinny appice. bill ward was in but dropped out recently and they arent saying why. they are calling it heaven and hell, because sabbath was inducted with ozzy and they dont want to use that name (which is lame its probably sharon and her fat lawsuits).

Damn straight! Axl should call his "band" Hired-Guns & Roses. Sadly, the Dio/Sabbath reunion is only important to hardcore Sabbath fans...unfortunately.
