no new album--tour only...

looooong time lurker here

was in my car listening to some vh on the radio and started thinking: what if vh decides to tour with dave but they dont release an album? after some thought, i think id be pretty disappointed. it would be cool to see them together live since ive seen dave solo and many hagar shows, but never the real deal (other than my old bootlegs). i would really like some new material more than anything. id almost rather them record and not tour, which is pretty unlikely. but whose to say either of these will happen.
sorry to ramble, was just wondering everyone elses thoughts.

I don't think the band will tour and not release a new album. Eddie has stated in the past he doesn't want to tour as a "nostalgia" act and Dave seemed quite excited about those 3 new tunes he wrote/recorded with the band in 2000. However it wouldn't surprise me if the band started the tour before the release of the new album... [img]smile.gif[/img]

The tour will be awesome, but it's the album I especially am dying for. I've listened to those six albums so much that each note is permanently etched in my memory. A seventh one? Oh God, please!!!!!!

Personally, I'd like to see an album and a HUGE world tour. I also believe that Eddie would not tour unless they released an album.
