Sammy Hangar ON SNL 1/20/06
1/21/07 -
Did anyone else catch the last segment of SNL last night. They did a "Hangman for Hire" commercial, with two cowboy types selling their hangman services. Their company mascot was a Sammy Hagar impersonator called "SAMMY HANGAR", they cut to the impersonator dressed in red and yellow, "singing I can't hang 55".

Damn! I almost saw that skit.
In classic Saturday night at home mode, I watched the 11 O'clock News waiting for SNL to start, fell asleep during the weather (missing sports), woke up in time to see the last sketch begin, scratched my ass, went to take a piss and returned in time to see the cast say goodnight.

I thought it was pretty funny. It was totally unexpected, I doubt it would be as funny on second veiwing. SNL has been really good this season but the non-Sammy part of that hangman sketch blew.
