On the Rocks Children's Hospital Benefit in Toronto

I know there are some Canadians on here, even some that live in Toronto or in the Greater Toronto Area; this is why I am posting today.

On March 30 there will be a benefit concert at The Opera House featuring 4 bands called On the Rocks. This show is benefiting The Hospital for Sick Kids and The Sick Kids Foundation with all proceeds going to the hospital. The bands are not "mainstream" but I have played with one of them and they are very good. I am playing in the one of the first bands to play during the night.

The bands that are playing are: F.E.C.M, Emelie, Secret Suburbia and the band I play in but we do not have a name yet. (By the way if you have any band names I would love to hear your suggestions). I have not heard any material from Secret Suburbia or Emelie so I can not say what they sound like.

Now to the next big question: What kind of music do we play? ROCK. It's all original material so it does have some new age elements, but it's roots are Rock and Roll. Mainly because most people in the band love the bands like Aerosmith, Sabbath, Neil Young, etc. And I can guarantee you... I would not play ANYTHING that does not sound like good Rock and Roll to me. So I can assure you that the music our band plays is good.

So anyways the tickets are $10 and like I said ALL proceeds go to The Hospital for Sick Kids, which is I believe the first hospital in North America to devote medial and hospital facilities to children.
