Best VH Ripoff Ever

I was down in Newport Beach California today on business and happened to notice this truck next to me at a stop light. What caught my eye was their company logo which is probably one of the most blatant rip-offs of someone else's logo I've ever seen. Check out their website and look carefully at their truck's logos for the Van Halen content:

At first I actually thought it was some sort of Van Halen equipment trailer (it was the black long trailer I saw). If you saw the logo on the truck in person, it's even more of an obvious swipe down to the three "wings" on either side of the logo. Because the "H" is on the left side, it really looks like a mirrored image of the classic VH logo.

Can anyone say "copyright infringement?"

Seriously, it may be more of a tribute than a rip-off. You should call their office and tell them your name is Jackie Chiles...

The funny thing is, it was pointed out to me that according to their website they've been in business since 1958 so who knows, maybe Van Halen stole *their* logo!

I live North County San Diego. I see their trucks all the time. I have thought the same thing..that sure looks like the Vh logo. Well now the cats out of the bag. If Ed's got the copyright. WTF I say if Ed. Now that Ed knows about the infringement they can expect the cease to exist order.

Now has anyone in So Cal seen the new car license plate shield its the franky stripes...Well not really but its red and has a map design with 2-3 streets running through it in white...Its franky!

Maybe this is the case. If that's true, VH will say nothing for fear of the truth coming out. It is a southern california company, so maybe Dave got the big idea hat it would be cooler than Mark Stone's logo. I thought Stone's was cool. You can see Alex and Dave wearing that logo t shirt in dance the night away video.
