Mike's Cinco de Mayo Party at Peppers

Thanks to Michael Anthony, the nicest guy in rock 'n' roll, for inviting us to this party. Also, thanks to Kevin Dugan, the 2nd nicest guy in rock 'n' roll.

Others in attendance were Nuno Bettencourt and Kevin Dugan's fellow road crew from the current Poison tour and the keyboard player from Poison.

A good time was had by all.
I enjoyed hangin' with Mike, Kevin, Vince G. and his wife Loni, Chelle and Brian, Matt (Guitar Shark), and Jon Schell.

At the moment, I can't remember anything that I'm sure is O.K. to put on the internet.

Lots of pictures were taken, so hopefully some will be posted soon.

Too funny.....enough has been posted so that now it looks like it was all Dave's fault, so now I guess we'll have to debate that.

Dave hasn't been a member of VH for 17 years, so why is the VH camp upset with him doing the Sam and Dave tour and not with Sam? And I guess it's a completely different story when the two former (for all intents and purposes) members of VH doing something together are Sammy and Mike.

For shit sakes, what is this earth-shattering news that everyone is so secretive about? What is it with this band and all the secrecy? If you people know something, then you should say it. I've waited for 3 friggin years for these guys to say something, and now a bunch of fans like me are keeping secrets too? WTF? Is it good news or bad news? Why the hell can't you tell it? Is it personal stuff? Is Eddie dying or a raging alcoholic again on the verge of divorce? I don't get it. Topics like this only piss me off some more. The CIA lets out more info than this band and some of its fans.

Isn't the fact that your saying he told you info that is supposed "SECRET" just as bad as telling us what he said? You've just basically said
" Yeah, Mike told us what's up, but told us not to say anything about it". Either way, if anyone in the VH family reads this, they know Mikes shooting off his mouth. I doubt there is ANYTHING news-worthy...Certain people like to keep others baited in order to hold on to some leevel of importance. I for one could care less...

To the lucky soul's who had the chance to party with one quarter of =VH=. I do not understand your reluctance to tell all what Mike had to say. He most certainly understood that by telling you this info, it would leak out to the masses. So why not tell us all of what he said. By not telling us all that you heard, you come out appearing "above" the rest of us.

If people are discussing things thousands of miles from the truth, then do the rest of us who are regionally impaired and don't have the option to drive over and hang with Mike the fucking common courtesy of telling us what not to discuss in some kind of roundabout way. I can understand him telling people something and asking it to be kept off the net, but fuck me, this bullshit of talking down is fucked up. You people are a day removed from being in the same boat as the rest of us, so try to keep that in your thought process, and give us the shortlist of stuff that we need not discuss or in any detail any longer. Sometimes those with sight have to help those that are blind so they stay close to the right path else the blind will wander off. 1000 miles from where they were heading? Only if those who have seen the way watch and stay quiet as the blind wander aimlessly in the wrong direction.

Absolutely, what a load of BS. Which leads me to believe it couldn't have been any big deal, because there's no way Mike would be so dumb as to say something that he's absolutely not allowed to tell.

Chelle, I'm not trying to start something here with anyone, but you all have to realize that when / if you tell everyone you "know" something but you can't reveal it, that's gonna get you a truckload of grief.

What's the harm of finally telling us something definitive? Mike's pretty much doing his own thing now as the VH brothers sit home and pout...at least that's what it looks like to us who "may not know it all".

Enlighten us please.

C'mon...help the rest of us out.
