Rumor Mill from Detroit

Recently a local DJ here in Detroit (WRIF The Riff) mentioned a possible VH reunion with David Lee Roth after playing some classic VH. I did not here the comment myself, I was told about it by a friend, so I emailed the station mgr and asked him if there was any truth to this. He replied yes and added that they (VH Management) was in the process of booking venues. He also said it was being kept very quiet and that there should be some kind of official announcment after the new year. I believe he new this because of his contacts at the venue that was being booked here in Detroit. When a reunion of this magnitude is coming through Detroit, WRIF promotes the hell out of it.

did you talk with doug Poddell? He's a big shot over at WRIF and is pretty good friends with Hagar..maybe Roth too.

He is very involved with the rrhof also! If you watch long road to Cabo Doug, Ted Nugent, and Sam are talking back stage about Roth, and Kid Rock Smoking!!

why do u guys gotta knock the guy? he is just telling u what he heard,god,give the guy a break. thanks dude,for the info,althugh its not new news,its just one more source,whhich is very reliable. i live in michigan too,and listen to the wrif. doug has been a radio personality since the late 70's,so he knows alot of rockers that have come through detroit over the years.

I think you nailed right there dude.

Dave needs this to work this time, so does Eddie even more so.
Eddie needs to prove all the skeptics wrong with the release of Mike and bringing in Wolfie.

Maybe they will put something new out, atleast a new song for a movie or something.

Dave needs some sort of re-establishment of his rock and roll legacy, while eddie and Alex need to change public opinion of themselves and the name Van Halen. Especially if indeed Van Halen will continue for our kids and grandkids via Wolfie.
