Lurking through the 100's of "Mike/Wolfie/Dave/VH in 2007" threads that have popped up here recently I'm afraid that I've grown quite confused over the past couple of months about what's going on with VH, who said what in/around the band, etc....

I don't WANT to start a new thread 'cause they're mostly the same worn shit, and rightly closed quickly (thank the admins). I do believe, however, that many of us could use a little clarification. A pool of good and right info to slow our spinning heads a bit. (does that info exist?)

1. Has VH actually said that they are getting back together w/Dave?,, Or at all for that matter?

2. Has there been anything resembling an official word that Mike is out and Wolfie is indeed playing bass in VH now?

I'm sure I'm missing something as my attention on the matter has waned in recent weeks. Are we basing this stuff on anything concrete, or is this still all complete VHLinks speculation gone wild based on hear say?
What do we really know about a VH "reunion"? Just the facts please, and sources to back up info is great for all.
Can you help us set the record at least kinda straight?

All I have actually heard is that the band is "rehearsing" with Wolfie on bass (which has been reported on many websites on the internet) and there is no word on who is fronting the band in this reported tour...thats all I have read into it..I am probably way far behind

You have to question whether the interview with Guitar World was legit. If so, then yes, Wolfie is the new bass player and Dave has been invited to rejoin the band. And since Dave has been trying so hard to get back in to Van Halen you can then assume that both parties are agreeable and that it's pretty much a done deal.

Now, it can also be said that maybe these guys are just stirring up drama ala "reality TV" style to increase the exposure and media-hype. If anything, all of this is doing nothing but help the discussion of the band increase.

I personally can't imagine Mikey not in there. He can sing so high it isn't even funny. He is an important part of the CVH sound. He deserves an equal cut IMHO.

All I've heard is Wolfie is rehearsing Dad and Uncle Al, keeping a strict no smoking/drinking policy, and banging the nanny.

Dave and Mike are in the guest rooms waiting to get busy.

The word that Wolfie is in came from Eddie's girlfriend (pathetic). not to mention Eddie embarrassed himself on Stern by insluting his former bandmates Hagar and Anthony on the show. then of course, he tells a magazine he told "dave to get his bitch ass up here and sing (whatever he said)", as if he's a vulgar teenage loser. I don't think we have confirmation of anything except that Eddie is a loser, Dave is a flake and that VH killed itself long ago. They don't owe us anything, but spare us the b.s.

The facts are right in front of us. The earth is round, EVH is back, he's called Dave because of Wolf, Wolf's in the band, they are rehearsing right now, they sound amazing, they are rejuvenated, and they are touring in a few months.
