Van Halen article at MTV.com

Check it out. It was an MTV interview with Michael Anthony. New album due out this Summer or Fall with a tour to follow. Announcements about the band's "singer" will happen really soon.

It totally lines up with my post in December after the MTV Christmas Party. Major contacts in different departments all shared the same info with me that Mike has announced . . .which I of course posted on Links. To all of those who doubted me . . .how do you like me now??

Sounds pretty good. Interesting how MTV counts out the sound of the early Van Halen as a thing of the past, and then goes on to report about it a few months later.

About an hour ago they had the same story with a picture of Eddie. At least they changed it to a picture that has Mikey in it.

BTW, message to MTV-Do your homework, Dave wasn't fired by Van Halen.

Holy shit, I leave for a couple days and come back to find out that for the first time, an actual band member made an official statement regarding the future of the band. fuckin sweet dude.
