Michael Anthony a bad bass player???

Can all you slapdicks who who have posted that you think Michael Anthony is not a good bass player tell me why you think this and what you're basing this on?

A BAD ASS BASS PLAYER!
MA Is what he is, hopefully not "was what he was". One Quarter of VH, and at times One HALF of the VOX.

The dude asks WHY do you think Mikes a bad bass player and two genius's post he's "bad" and he's "terrible". Don't give a damn reason WHY you think that way.

Mike's a competent bass player. Actually, he's probably better than anyone knows...if someone would just give him a little room...ahem. He went above and beyond anything I've ever heard him play on the Other Half tour.

Everyone screaming about how great it would be if VH got Billy Sheehan - and Billy's a god to me, BTW - doesn't know shit. Ed and Billy together would be a wank-fest trainwreck! Two virtuosos constantly noodling would be too much....

Slapdick Who Whos are the new Little Debbie snack cakes that compete with Hostess' Ho Hos. Chocolate cakes with creamy fillings.

They are Rosie O'Donnell's favorite.

M.A. - He's a solid base player. He's not going to WOW you with some wicked solo (like the likes of Sheehan might). His base solo during shows is why people question him (because, he doesn't do anything truly musical - unless clanging your bass on the stage floor that produces huge volumes of noise is musical - hey! That makes me a TREMENDOUS guitar player then!).

If he got inventive with it, people on here would be crying that it was so boring they had to go take a leak during that part of the show.

He's consistent within the guidelines of this band. Someone said it earlier. If VH had and Eddie Van Halen equivalent on base, it would throw it off.
