Not sure I'm hip to the whole "Guitars SUCKS" deal, but there was some stellar fucking playing on there. Some amazing over the top Michael Hedges acoustic stylings. Some coma inducing stuff, but interesting to see Petrucci paying homage to Vai and always awesome to see P. Gilbert throw those unbelievably fucked up alternate picked passages. The chick had some nice tits and dsl's. The Howe and Holdsworth clips were a little bland for my taste even though I know both of those cats can rip it up like no other. Obviously having other influences, I thought that Rob Marcello dude bore a strong Steve Morse influence. Didn't think it was the best clip to showcase Eric Johnson's playing, but that motherfucker is a guitar monster. In addition to his studio recordings, watch/listen to any live improvised version of "Cliffs" and it's almost depressing to pick up an axe afterwards. That Root Beer Rag dude is a son of a bitch. Chet Atkins? Most people usually place him into that "awesome fingerpicker" category, which he is, but that fucker can blow some blazing sweep style arpeggios too on top of other shit. What a cool rendition of Mr. Sandman. Thanks for the clip dude.

As for muffdiver, thanks for your clip also. I only hope that I can play in such an odd time signature...for fuck's sake...that too just about made me look at my guitar in disgust. Even if I tried, I don't think I play that bad after a case of brew.
