The VHLinks Texas Hold Em Poker League

Ive decided to see if we can get enough people who are interested in a regular or semi regular poker league amongst Links members. OF course, u can always invite friends, but we'll start it with Linkers only.

Its been suggested that we start with play money., especially for those who dont know how to play or who havent signed up with money yet.

I will set it up on Full Tilt and there will be a password to get in,..no big deal.
We can discuss what night we'll meet to play and how often. We'll play straight up no- limit hold em and when we get to the point where everyone is comfortable, we'll play some money games, but always low stakes.

So pls sign up if interested and lets hear idea's, questions, etc about it..
it's a load of fun , a great game and a great way to hang out shooting the shit and playing cards.

Btw, if u sign up on FT, and u deposit money, when u refer a friend, you will recieve a matching bonus, up to $600 of deposit money..but more on all that later..

So who's a gambler,..er uh, skill player,...and who is in..ladies as well

It will be hard to have a league that could get together online at the same time once a week or whatever. However, like double ohh! seven said...I am always willing to play when available and not for real money. Just for fun.

I joined Full Tilt last night and played for a few hours and got my play money bank roll up to about $10k. So I'm ready.

Think I got about 4-6 K in play money at FT. PokerStars might be a better joint to play at....action moves faster there. LOL, I think I have 3-4 mil in play chips there. Play most of my real money games there and DoylesRoom.

Something to consider, maybe, in switching up the fun from Texas NL, as long as we're fake moneying, is Omaha H/L. I've made some decent dough in real money Omaha HL games.

I always play at Pokerroom, but I guess the majority of people interested in this is at FT. I'll have to join up and get a bankroll going there.

Omaha H/L is ok. There's just so many possibilities in that game. It always takes me a while to figure out what the hell I'm going for.
I'd rather just play regular Omaha. I'm not as interested in split-pots.
But, then again, I guess I'm just a poker junkie...I'll play any game.
