Given that it's Sammy, the first single on "Not for Sale" should be called "Buy My Stuff."

Also, the lyrics to "Things Have Changed" sound like they're about how Sammy walked out on his wife for a woman half her age.

Actually, from what I've read, years ago Sammy did walk out on his wife for a woman half his age. Yes it's shitty, but at some point most rock stars seem to do it.

This is kinda off topic.. Now i know sam has the money, he has said it constantly.. And i'm not bashing sammy, since i love sammy, and dave. But, it would have been really fuckin' cool if he did major promotion for it on the tour, if he knew it was gonna come out. And said, hey its not 4 sale, so just download it, and enjoy it.. Most bands make money off of merch, and the tour.. I have seen younger bands that are seriously cashing in, and not trying to be money hungry.. They will simply say at one of their concerts, "were selling the cd here, its at stores, get the music anyway you can, download it if you want to, do whatever you have to." And the fans love it, and even sometimes out of respect, people will buy the cd.. Sammy doesn't make too much money off cd's anymore, i'm sure he does ok, but not that great.. I just thought it sounded kinda funny, pre order sammy hagar's new cd not 4 sale.. Ummmmmm isn't that an oxy moron?? Like, i said, i'm not bashing.. I just thought to give the music away would have been a very cool idea.. And might boost ticket sales, and merch sales... Just my 2 cents

I just received an advance of Sammy's album. I noticed that he is now on Tower Records' 33rd St. label. So long, majors. Next stop, Quickie Marts' Songs for the Road label.

After reading the lyrocs to THINGS HAVE CHANGED, I woncer if it was written for Val and a TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL episode.

So Sammy made himself happy again by finding a woman that makes him happy. At least he LIKES women. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
His overall rock and roll attitude seems to have gotten better as his lyrics have since he met his sexy mama.
