I saw that back in 89 or 90....I thought I must have just remembered it wrong, I don't think it's sped up cause I've seen a couple of other vids of him doing stuff like that....his whole shtick is he's fast...just f'n fast. he used to be in a band called...fifth angel I think and he was supposed to be the fastest guitar player in the world..singer had like a 10 octave voice or something they were supposed to be so over the top...never heard one of thier songs though...

Ha, yes, it's Michael Angelo Batio, he is indeed THAT fast. Being ambidextrous, he also has that gimmick were he's playing a two handed guitars with both hands. He's mostly doing clinics nowadays, he's all about the show and that's his thing.

Did anyone tell that guy that Alice Cooper and Mick Mars want their hair style back? I tell ya, that guy can play the geetar really fast, but he is nothing better than that wanker Vinnie Vincent! Speed kills indeed. The other lessons from Doug Marks were a lot better than the speed ones....speed metal guitar is fun to poke around in, but to be obsessed with it all the time is wankisms at its best.
