Probably the same crap he always says. It's hard to believe anything he says after he gushed about MA and Sammy in that last GW article before the 2004 tour

They have waited too late. Dave is a parody of himself now. He's a smart guy, but I wish he would drop the act. Remember the way he acted doing the bluegrass stuff? I don't think Wolfgang is what people should be worried about...the reunion should have happened in 1996-1997.

Well, since there has been no official announcement by the band, I think all Andrew can confirm is that he hasn't heard otherwise.

I'd like to hear from Roth about all these rumors.

if roth has really signed on the dotted line, we would know about it. wolfie on tour just looks like a disaster waiting to happen.

Can you imagine the pressure on Wolfie not to fuck up on a tour like this??
All those songs to learn and 2 hours every other night for 3-4 months.
And hes 16 yrs old. I dont think Allstate would even cover this one.

I would tend to agree...far be it from Dave to keep his mouth shut about something like this. They probably wont let him sign on the dotted line until they are ready to make an announcement.

While it's certainly of a different sort, Derek Trucks had his own band consisting of professional musicians and toured full-time at the age of 14. Why is it out of the realm for Wolfie to play Bass for a few months with papa and uncle Al? I'm not saying it's the same without Mike (I think he should be offered the gig if it's truly a "Reunion" thing), but there's no legal issues here. I mean, this is all completely feasable if he's got the chops down. And remember, the Bass in most VH music isn't exactly mind-blowing....
