Is there any real Van Halen news to be had anywhere? Reading around here is like some sort of pseudo discussion with a bunch of self described "experts" on a long dormant rock band.

Who said Mike was "out"? Ed? Alex? Mike? Sam? Dave?
Who said Dave was "in"? Ed? Alex? Mike? Dave? Sam?
Who said Sam was "out"? Ed? Alex? Mike? Dave? Sam?

Which is amazing, as many of us have never even met a member of the band, nor do we know any of them personally. However; we seem to be quite able to decipher what they say, what they mean, what they are like, what they think, etc...

Now I'm just waiting for the first "waste of sperm" to come up with some bullshit reply to this, or shut it down, or reply with something that doesn't have anything to do with answering the question.....

I will assume if this topic is closed, that there is in fact no new Van Halen news to discuss without some "numbnut's" personal speculation about what maybe happening with the band of which he is not a member, great, pour it on.

But any statements you make should be backed up by fact, and unless you produce the fact, (that can in fact be verified), then I would personally say you should shut the fuck up.

I especially like you people who seem to have all the answers, and are "authoritarian" in your speculative replies. "Wipes". We used to push these guys into their locker and punch them just for being "alive".

In an interview with Howard Stern. "There's a new VH. My son will play bass. Sauce Soblewski can do whatever he wants." His girlfriend also confirmed this to an internet press outlet. That's as factual as we can get for you. Mike has said he's not been contacted about any Van Halen project. Look on his website for this.

Nobody has said Dave was "in". Ed has been quoted on Howard Stern as saying he's open to working with him, followed by being quoted in the most recent Guitar World as saying Dave's been invited to come and sing for them, the band is ready to.

Maybe, just maybe, before you label the rest of the folks here on the links as useless sperm, you should look into learning to read and figure it out for yourself. All the answers are here, if you care to see them.
