Would people feel differently about Wolfie joining VH to fill bass duties if he was filling a spot vacated by Michael Anthony who (sensibly, I think) refused to participate in a hamfisted 2007 tour with DLR on vocals?

If I were Mike I'd value my friendship with Sammy and the likelihood of many more years touring smaller venues, above taking part in a 'reunion' tour that was clearly motivated by money and I was required to sign away my rights, etc.

Having said that, it may not actually be that EVH fired MA from the band to pave the way for his son. It may be that MA quit rather than give in to an unfair contract and this is why Wolfie looks to be lining up as part of VH circa 2007.

Would this make it less bad for anyone?
