It's time for Mike to write a book

I just read a blurb in Rolling Stone confirming Wolfgang is the new bassist in Van Halen with quotes of Ed talkin' shit on Mike. I think it's time Mike writes a book about his time with Van Halen. Of all the members past and present, I think Mike's book would be the closest to the truth.

If Mike is really out of VH, then I think it is time for him to tell Sammy to shit or get off the pot. This part time crap with the Wabos will not cut it. If Sammy can't get past the wabo deal and make Mike a full time member then Mike should do a solo CD with the many friends he has made over the years.

i'm not sure mike's in a bad spot as a part-time wabo, or whatever you'd call it. all these guys are older, and have cash. maybe he just wants to get out over the summer and play some gigs and he's cool with that. i would think it's likely he wouldn't want to be in a band full-time again. it's not like he's hungry and trying to make it. he's been there, and now just wants to go out and jam when he feels like it. at least that's probably how i'd feel about it.

I think you can write a book and still be a good person - as long as it's "fair and balanced" and accurate, and not childish and vindictive. Mike is the only one of the bunch who could pull that off.
