Whyyyyyyyy!?

Hey everyone,

I actually just registered today, but visit this board from time to time. I haven't seen anything yet about this so I thought I would post some info I read last night.

I opened the new Guitar World that arrived in the mail and I saw a page with an old picture of Eddie and Dave with a long sidebar next to it. Naturally I read it right away. In short it said that Eddie was asking Dave to come up and sing. So I got really excited and read on. Dave hasn't confirmed that he's doing anything and hasn't even responded - in fact it sounded like this was the first news of Eddie saying this to anyone.

Well, naturally, I'm getting pretty excited thinking how sweet a CVH reunion would be, when I continue to read on. Wolfgang will be the new bass player in the band. They didn't say much more than that other than Eddie gushing on about how Wolfie "Kicks my ass..." referring to his playing, and that he's been playing bass for 3 months. Also, an issue is coming up that will have an interview with Eddie...

Sorry I can't transcribe the article because I'm at work and I probably won't get to it this weekend either, but just wanted to drop this info here because I know what it's like to be wondering about VH.

Personally at this point I conside the band dead, as much as it pains me to say so.

The only Wolfie's left on Miami Beach is the original Wolfie's, which has been on this corner, actually most of the block, since 1947. Wolfie's, bless its heart, is the quintessential Jewish deli. There are heaping bowls of pickles and cole slaw on each table, and believe me, you should help yourself. The waitresses are brusque here, but then so are some of the patrons. The restaurant is awash in pink and blue Miami Beach kitsch, and the menu is a mile long. Wolfie Cohen had the right idea way back when: the place is open 24 hours a day, and hey, you just might want that corned beef and pastrami sandwich at 3 AM, so it's a good thing. The Reuben sandwich and potato pancakes are also especially good choices, and the pastries and desserts are a cholesterol attack in the making. Yep, Wolfie's is as legit as they come.

Yeah, that's basically what the article said. It said somehting like "the group is now %25 more Van Halen, with Wolfgang (Ed's son) now playing bass..."

I really thought it would have been posted earlier today, which is why I decided to visit - like I said I don't always come here. I really hate to be the person bringing this news to everyone...
