Default Lost Boys Calling / The Legend of 1900

I just read about a song called Lost Boys Calling (a tune written by former Pink Floyd member Roger Waters) for the movie, "The Legend of 1900."

anyone here heard this song? Any good?

Anyone know where I can download this song from? I have never heard it or known of its existence.

It's very much a Roger Water's song. A slow atmospheric song with Eddie adding nice guitar decoration to it. It's a good song.

Did you hear the song online, buy the soundtrack or see the movie? Any links to the song?

got the sound track good ragtime piano stuff, great movie too.
the song Lost Boys Calling is good the guitar parts are almost haunting
which is sort of symbolic of the movie theme

I haven't listened to 'Lost Boys Calling' for ages, it's a good song though.

The music was written by Ennio Morricone who did all the score stuff for The Legend Of 1900, with the lyrics written & sung by Roger Waters. Eddie contributes 2 short guitar solos to the track.
“And what we have at our fingertips is arguably one of the greatest high tenor voices ever – that was in Michael Anthony. In our tiny little corner of the universe, that voice is as identifiable as the high voice in Earth, Wind & Fire, as identifiable as the high voice in the Beach Boys. Van Halen is an indelicate house blend of both – that’s intentionally. So I would always look forward to that reunion.” - David Lee Roth

David Lee Roth, Edward Van Halen, Michael Anthony, Alex Van Halen, Sammy Hagar.

I like the guitar parts in there on Lost Boys Calling, you can tell that it's Ed's playing. There is an acoustic version of the song too on youtube, the dude does a good job

Yeah, great stuff .. and I really liked the movie. Also reminds me of the stuff he did with Rich Wyman as well, I liked that as well.

I highly recommend watching the movie as well. It's a very good movie. But sad, though. The song "Lost Boys Calling" is at the very end of the movie as the credits roll. And you definitely can tell it's EVH on the electric guitar. I also agree that Ed should do more of this type of stuff. Maybe now that he appears to have his demons in check, we'll hear more of these type of collaborations. I truly think there's a whole other side to Ed's playing outside of the band called Van Halen.
"People say Cream gave birth to Heavy Metal," says Baker. "If that's so, we should have had an abortion."
