    Sigs For The "Sig-less" Thread...

Every so often, one finds a quote or phrase that sticks in one's memory, and winds up in one's sig. Be it insightful, profound or even stultifying in it's cluelessness, it stands out and can be deemed worthy of repeat.

Since I care not to change my sig on a daily basis, here are some "left-overs" I've run across. Feel free to add your own, or to use those as they are offered.

"VH III is the Battlefield Earth of music." Menlow, 2006

"The more it stays the same, the less it changes." Spinal Tap, The Majesty of Rock

"God is a comedian playing to an audience that is afraid to laugh." Voltaire

"Torah, torah, torah. The warcry of the Kamikaze Rabbi's." Lamb, Christopher Moore

"Do you have a job, car, place to stay and is the answer to the last two the same thing?" Overheard in a bar

"While nothing is easier than to denounce the evil-doer, nothing is more difficult than to understand him." Dostoyevsky

"Plenty of technology, precious little soul." Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick on today's music

"The difference between martyrdom and suicide is press coverage." Panic at the Disco

"How are ya doing? Excrement. How about you?" Overheard in a bar

"Uh...I just don't get it. I tried. I really, really did. I listened to one of their albums and blacked out. Next thing I remember I woke up masturbating to pictures of Earnest Borgnine...again." Junior, on The White Stripes 2006

That'll start things. How 'bout you folk?
"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man."
    George Bernard Shaw
