i dunno if this has been posted b4 its just a funny clip i came accross while on the tube of the guys in better times, they really should get their sense of humour back

I never saw this clip before. Thanks! I have the John Stewart episode on tape when VH played and it was great, but I've never seen this clip. I laughed when Eddie was trying to rip off the towel. HA.

I think the sense of humor aspect of VH still carries over with Sammy Hagar and Mikey to a degree, and that is part of many reasons why they have carried over a large number of the VH fan base.

The front man of a band is so important in carrying the band's image. Sammy and Dave both brought different images for VH but I have always felt they were very similar in being excellent spokesmen for the group and creating a fun and appealing perception of VH. Sure, Mike, Al and Eddie did their part too, but I have always felt that Dave and Sammy created the environment and the band followed that template.
