AVH - Drumkit 2004 Pics
Not sure if this has been posted before, but I came across these pics of Alex's 2004 kit this morning and thought they were cool. Lots of other custom kits there as well.

Yeah..they all are great. Have you noticed though, how "usual" his drums are compared to after the years of OU812? But,..those drums on the 04 tour really rev me up to get one of those dragons put on my arm.
Thanks for the link!

Great shots of the 2004 drum kit! Those dragons are sweet! Reminds me of the good old 5 Star days ... that drum kit was the 1st thing I saw when I entered the stadium at Hershey Park. During sound check (between songs) I yelled out something to Alex, and Mikey told me that Alex couldn't hear me because he was deaf. HAHA. I remember thinking how hard it must be to play along to those keyboard tracks and a click if you are hard of hearing, but then I was as amazed as ever how excellent Alex kept it all together. (As always). He was great that tour I must say.
As usual, there is a great woman behind every idiot.

So Al Sharpton blessed his kit or what? Did I miss something?

Agree with most of this. Plant really just stood there and sang. Same with Daltrey. Morrison didn't know where he was most of the time, he wasn't a great frontman at all, IMO. Not even a great...
