does anyone out there remember the 1980 van halen invasion? i saw it at manchester apollo england i was 17 never been the same since.what is your greatest memory about that tour?luckily i have it

I was living in Calgary in 1980 and Van Halen played there less than a month into that tour. Unfortunately I wouldn't have even recognized the VH name that year (I was 9). I wouldn't become a VH fan until 1984 and never caught the live version of the original band. I can't even begin to tell you how much I would have loved to have seen Van Halen in 1980; the youth, power, size, arrogance, muscle, and assault of the boys at that time. Wow, I'm insanely jealous of anyone who got to experience that.
