It's Very Underated, and it's just simply remarkable!

Yeah, they go hand in hand Glenn, I never understood why Eddie was so critical of this album, after all... it was the only Van Halen album that showcased his fathers talents!

I would say DLR at his best would be between song 2 and 3 on the "cover bands" boot where he's telling the crowd that their name was Van Halen and that it's out front on the markey. At this point Dave say's that they're going to do one more to finish off the set and then just about pukes! He then says "somethings finishing me man, I got to talk to your connection"!

Everytime I hear that I laugh my ass off, and then two songs later, Dave suggests staying away from the blue pills! This is clasic Dave, although both Secrets and Little Guitars rip it up!

Secrets is okay but,
I think Dave in the Jump video or in the Yankee Rose video is Dave at his best!

L in it! I saw it for the first time in years a month ago and I was blown away on how great that video is!

I'm still at a loss for why Diver Down wasn't represented on the BOV 1 album. Eddie says that Alex was the one who primarily chose the tracks for BOV 1, so perhaps that's a hint of how unhappy the VH bros are, and were, with Diver Down. To me, though, if you put the cover tunes aside, there are some of their best original songs on there.

One more day and I get to hear Little Guitars remastered. I can't wait.

Yeah! Diver Down had a few covers on it "Pretty Women", "Dancin' In The Street" etc, but there was some cool original stuff too. "Hang 'Em High", "Little Guitar" "Full Bug" and the the previously mentioned "Secrets". These are some songs that we'll remember for years to come. I dare you to make that claim for VH3. Pound for pound I prefer this record to Van Halen 3, any day.
