X-Men Illustrator Dave Cockram Dies... Wearing Superman PJs
COLUMBIA, South Carolina -- the famous X-Men comic illustrator, Dave Cockrum, attributed to the popularizing of Marvel comics in the 1970s has died. Not only was he part of the rise of Marvel's popularity but is also responsible for some of the best known characters. Known to his friends and family as the true incarnate of a comic fan. Cockrum was found dead in his favorite chair wearing Superman pajamas, and Batman blanket. He is to be cremated in his Green Lantern shirt.
