Quite a bit, I guess...definitly 1.5 hours per day while working out, mostly Dave era, and whenever it comes on Sirius Buzzsaw or Hair Nation while actually at work. While working out though, nothing quite gets the blood pumping like Classic Van Halen, or on occasion the Rocky 4 soundtrack.

I didn't listen to them much all year. In the early fall, I started visiting the 'Links and listening to their music off and on. The Melodic Rock Reunion rumor hit shortly after, and now I've been listening to them daily for the past several weeks. This is a typical cycle for me. Since 1982, it's all been contigent on new music from the band. New stuff or promise of new stuff, usually makes me dig back and listen to earlier stuff.

LOL
He was making fun of your typo habbits.
Now, to answer your question, I listen to VH at least once a week. I used to listen to them everyday, but since there's no VH at the moment and I don't have a guitar anymore, there's no point in listening to them all the time. One thing I've noticed is I play the songs in my head almost note for note when I'm walking to work. It helps pass the time.Homer: No one snuggles with Max Power. Just strap on and feel the Gs!
American Coast Guard: Back off Canadians we got them.
Canadian Coast Guard: You back off hosers, they are in Canadian waters, eh.
American Coast Guard: Beat it you puck smacking maple suckers!
Canadian Coast Guard: Take a hike you Shatner stealing Mexico touchers!
Bart: Who the hell is this?
Jack Bauer: I’m Jack Bauer, who the hell is this?
Bart: Me, er… I’m Ahmed Adudi
Jack: Chloe, get me all you can on Ahmed Adudi… Does anyone there know Ahmed Adudi?
Chloe O’Brien: Ahmed Adudi; wealthy Saudi financier… Disappeared into Afghanistan in the late 90s…
Jack: … Really?
Chloe (ironically): No Jack it’s a joke name, you’re being set up.
Jack: DAMMIT!

Usually a couple hours a week.
I have them programmed in my Sirius and I'll see what song it is first and then decide whether to flip over. Mostly though I listen to them around the house on weekends while doing things.

In all seriousness....and ya know how much I like to be serious....
I haven't listened to much VH at all in the last six months. Kind of a milestone for me when I took Fair Warning outta the disk changer in the truck early last summer...first time it'd been outta the loop in many many years. Sadly, I think the entire catalogue is currently washed out for me, with the possible exceptions of WACF and Balance. That's what I get for my favorite band having all of ten fucking albums over a thirty year history.
The only Halen I listen to currently is about once a month, maybe every two weeks, for an hour in the car, and it's a mixed CD with a bunch of oddities and one-offs, sort of a VH leftover disk.
Babe Don't Leave Me Alone
Put Out the Lights
Let's Get Rockin'
Light in the Sky
We Die Bold
Act Like it Hurts
I Want Some Action
Crossing Over
Humans Being
Can't Get This Stuff No More
Me Wise Magic
It's About Time
Up for Breakfast
Learning to See
Basically, I'd do anything short of murder for some new fuckin' Halen. Need someone extorted? Blackmailed? Tortured? Flamed? Juicy-juiced? I'm your mercenary man...IF you've got the six 2000 Dave tracks soundboarded and polished and burned in real audio non MP3 format.
The pass phrase for the transaction is: As the crow crawls, so too will the Eddie red moon rising.
You fellas in the trenchcoats, know what to do.Last edited by Van Squalen; 11.26.06 at 04:39 PM.

If VH is such a boring band why have you joined a forum full of fans who listen to them regularly, and watch for their every move!
