I think about those people waving from their rooftops, begining for rescue and all of those families who are crammed into hotel rooms and apartments who'd kill to have a house like that...and...just...wow.

Yea, read the post this morning, but was at a loss for words myself.
Just bought my first house this year, and had to jump thru major hoops
to get it. To be givin a home and to turn around and sell it.(shaking head)
I thought the piece said they had to agree to stay in tenn. maybe there is
something they signed that we don't know about.(lets hope)

Yeah take it up with your god and see what he has to say about it.

However, this fella is probably the exception to the rule. I am sure everyone else was really thankful. A shame one or two folks have to be this way.

I hope this church has some legal recourse. I'm not one who advocates suing persons for the hell of it, but this is one instance where I am all for it. Its a shame some lawyer wouldn't "donate" his time and make these fuckers have to pay out the ass in court.

It seems like a really lousy thing to do but if you give someone something, that should be it. They can do with it what they want. I don't believe in giving away anything with strings attached especially money. If you can't afford to lose it, don't give it. That way there is no hard feelings but if you do get paid back, it's icing on the cake.

Perhaps these people had unforeseen circumstances that they had to move back to NO.

Seems like there would've been other more needy families who could have and would have appreciated being given a house for the basic need of shelter.
