Happy Turkey Day everyone! In light of Ed's recent comments about Sam selling tequila and Mike selling hot sauce using his songs, does anyone else find it just a little bit hypocritical that it was okay for Ed and Al to whore out for milk???

I think that the situation here is very different. Ed and Al didn't go around pimpin milk like Hagar pimps tequila. Before everyone gets their panties in a knot, I must mention that I'm a big Hagar fan and just playing devil's advocate here. It would be a different story if Ed and Al had a dairy farm and wanted to promote it at every VH show by drinking milk on stage and producing T-shirts with the VH logo and Milk. That's exactly what Hagar and Anthony do, they promote a product in which they have a vested interest. The more they promote, the more $$$ they make.

I believe that if Ed and Al were given a percentage off of milk sales, we probably would have seen milk adverts at VH shows(money talks and all of these guys, as much as they say they're not, are all about the mighty dollar). So do I think that Ed and Al are hypocrits...no, their probably just a little jealous that Hagar and Anthony have businesses that are successfull and they don't. Hence the comments about Hot Sauce Sobiesky. Maybe Ed should put out his own line of wine or something.

I don't think it's a huge deal. It was a one off thing they did years' ago. I just found it funny, Ed & Al promoting milk of all things. At the time they did, I seem remember readin' a quote from Sammy, where he said something to the effect, that he never once saw them drink milk, in 11 years.

I wouldn't have done it for free either if I were them. Why should they? Why should anyone?

Fuck at least they weren't promoting drinking alcohol or smoking....jesus give them some credit for choosing a good product.
