    Default "The Hitcher" remake

Trailer looks well put together and Sean Bean is always an excellent bad guy, but I don't know that they needed to remake a movie that was only 20 years old. Anyone who saw the original will recognize a key scene, and a lot of "rejuxtopositioning".

And ya gotta love any gal named "Sophia Bush".

They really don't need to remake this movie. It was fine the 1st time.

    Rutger Hauer was the man.

Between The Hitcher and Nighthawks, he was a great villian.

Yup, yet one never actually "saw" it, as it was filmed "Hitchcock-style", merely implying the event. Actually, it's far more frightening that way.

This was one odd movie, including the strange undercurrents at work at the end between Hauer and Howell.

I used to wonder why he was grinning all the time(Michael Ian Black talkin about EVH on VH1 I love the 80's) but then i realized the reason he's grinning is because he's Eddie F*#king Van Halen

    Good call.

I still think he was great in Nighthawks though.
