Eddie Van Halen Birthday Celebration in Pasadena

Hey Southern California VHLinkers,

Let's celebrate Eddie's Birthday (albeit a week early) on January 19th when my tribute to "Classic" Van Halen, PANAMA www.vhtributeband.com is performing at McMurphy's Tavern located at 72 N. Fair Oaks Avenue in Pasadena.

I would love to meet other die-hard So Cal fans and talk about all things VH over some beers, especially with all the new developments around the band. Hell anybody I meet who says they're from VHLinks I will buy them the first round.

My band goes on at 9:00p.m. but I would love to get there early so I can hang out. And after PANAMA is a truly awesome tribute to AC/DC called BONFIRE. Check them out at www.labonfire.com

Finally to make this night a really fun celebration, I want to offer one VHLinker the opportunity to take over the guitar for a "classic" VH song of your choice. Ain't Talkin', DOA, You Really Got Me, Hot For Teacher, you name it. We know close to 40 of them so I'm pretty sure we'll have you covered.

Count me in. Quite surprising coz there's not a lot of live music happening in Pasadena these days, but a good surprise!
