Never done this before...
Don't really know what I'm doing, but y'all will help me out, right?
I really need to get this off my chest: I rediscovered VH in 2004 upon release of BOBW. Hadn't really listened to them in years, except for their hits on the radio. When I listened to BOBW for the first time I couldn't believe it; I was so excited, I couldn't believe how great they sounded and wondered why I hadn't listened to them for so long. Since then I've bought several of their "albums" (yes, I'm a few years older) and been up on what a lot of musicians and fans have said about them. When I've read what some music critics have said about them - well, it really pisses me off.
Here's what I have to say about the charge that they are just a party band and Ed plays without emotion:
VH is raucous and raw, energizing, exciting and exhilirating;it's classy, sassy, and so so sexy; it's male sexual energy channeled in the very best way.
Bottom line is: Ed thrills me to the core.
