    Default Gene Simmons says...

now before this thread is closed this does contain interesting van halen stuff. a sentence if even but its still cool.
    http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/..._id=1003409147
those demos he did in 1977 with the brothers may finally see the light next year. i wonder if ed and him did anything in 1982 when he tried joining kiss and gene convinced him to stay in van halen. oh ya its not the demos he produced in 1976, its i guess stuff they worked on, where ace frehley basically copied eddie's solo from something and played the exact same thing in christine sixteen.

It must be Simmons who owns those tapes, then. I have a feeling if Ed owned them, we wouldn't be hearing an official release anytime soon. Unless he's talking about some songs they collaborated on that weren't recorded or released...

Fuck Gene Simmons!!, It took a whole week to clean the sheets and woodwork after Music From "The Elder" came out on LP. She was a whore and she used me because I had a turntable.

Simmons tried to get releases from the Van Halen brothers in order to include one or all of the 3 tracks (demos) that they had performed on for the KISS boxed set, yet they refused.

Wonder why they would relent this time?

yup that is true he wanted them on the kiss box set from a few years back but there was legal complications or something. its cool though how he does mention how ace ripped some stuff off of eddie.
yea its actually not a sentence but a mere few words but that is cool though. technically this will be the first rare stuff ever released offically of the band or the bros. and its funny cuz its gene simmons and not the band. actually thats a little sad really.

The main reason was that the VH Bros discovered that there was a high risk that their fans might ENJOY this release. They couldn't take that risk hence their refusal. Don't forget it's their mission to make sure their fans wallow in perpetual misery - no distraction allowed.

Exactly! We should all be as miserable as EVH. Happiness is forbidden, and never ever count your blessings.
