I know but like I have said before, he has given us a lot and really doesn't owe anybody anything although I would like to see him deliver the magic one more time. If he doesn't, then I am happy with what he has accomplished and contributed. His legend is solid and will expand after he is long gone.

Maybe he will. All of this stuff regarding M.A. being out and Wolfgang being in is just speculation and internet rumours. I am going to wait for an official announcement before getting to concerned about it.

I hear where you are coming from because of things we hear but I need more facts before I call him a dick. I think that if you removed alcoholism from the equation that Eddie wouldn't be seen as such a dick. I hesitate on getting on someone who has an addiction because of dealing with people I know who are struggling with addictions. EVH's father had a problem with alcoholism and it is not uncommon for offspring to have the same issue.

You are right he does not owe us shit. He is the one that countless times has said that he is a musician and musicians create music. So in my crappy opinion, the man needs to show somebody the music he has created. What not a better time than now, with the advent of this thing called the internet. We all know how he likes to stay up late and create music, how cool would it be, if he had one of his computer pals show him how to upload his new thoughts, and let us all take a listen into that genius of his. Van Halen as the band is done and has been for 10ish years, its now time for Edward Van Halen to shine through, and show the world what he has. For christ sakes, all of his idols have taken the advances of the internet, and let their music reach more people with it.

Oh I see because there was no Sammy era VH in the slideshow... you'd think that I wouldn't get it. I understand now. I had to watch it again. I forgot it was just Dave era VH on there. But what's funny is there were no vocals on those pieces that he chose to put in the slideshow. So how would me being a Hagar lover change anything. Ed's guitar is the same through Dave, Sam and Gary. How would that fact that I'm a Hagar lover make it more hard for me to "understand" this? It's still good ol' Eddie doing what he does best. But I appreciate your sentiment. Also what I meant was... I do not need to see a bunch of pictures with music to know that Eddie is the "man". I listen to every era of VH each and every day... I know.
