Achievements:
Seen this tour in 2002 and kinda felt bad for dave cause he seemed to forget
the words to a few songs. Now i wonder if he forgot them or was just changing things up a bit. Either way , i enjoyed his set and was VERY impressed with Ray LuzierUtilize. Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.
I love coffee and sarcasm.

Alot of people have complained about Dave's voice on that tour, but I actually think he sounds pretty good, better than the 2006 boots that I've heard IMO.

"I forgot the fuckin' woooords!"
Classic Dave. He has often, in the past and in the present, messed up words to his own songs.

Dave sounded good on a lot of the boots from that tour. You can tell he really tried to get the scream back and quit the YFLM yelping. Nowadays, he's back to yelping, but stays in his comfort zone for the most part. I think I liked it better when Dave tried to hit the notes rather than the lounge singing he does today.

I think "the scream" is what did Dave's voice in in the first place. That double-octave squeeze/whisper thing is really hard on one's voice. Do it routinely in the studio and on tour, and I can see why it'd do permanent damage.
I thought the Southern Side of VH TV performances were cool. Dave seemed to be having fun with it, and he sounded good (though his usual "shtick" got old for me).

Hadn’t heard that story before. Still a cool cover.
