The new TV season SUCKS!!!
The new Fall TV season sucks, I have not found one show on any of the four major networks that is worth a dam.
Am I missing something? Have you found a show that you like?
I had high hopes for a few sitcoms and a couple of drama's but have removed them all from my Tivo season pass list.
Has Hollywood run out of idea's or are they just scared to put something new on? It seems to me that they all just try to copy last seasons hit shows. I find myself watching cable networks more than I do the free networks.
FX is the leader in great drama's these days.
Am I the only person that feels this way??((Just My Two Cents))
And thats about what its worth.

Studio 60 is holding my interest, but its a tad on the... idno... sappy side or something. They just did a two-part one and I didn't feel like the first one really was good enough to warrant continuing it.
Looking forward to the new season of The Shield, and maybe trying that "Dirt" show on F/X too.Go Canes!!!

My favorite shows to watch when I can are: Prison Break, Nip and Tuck, Heroes and The Amazing Race, along with the CSI's.
Just go for it!

My DVR passes:
Prison Break Season 1 was really good...2 is pretty good.
Heroes is ok, i am watching out of curiosity mainly.
Smallville is still rockin' along steadily.
House is fading fast.
Studio 60 is on life suppoprt.
Weeds had an awesome season.

I'm not sure why anyone would expect anything from the old networks
when the only shit they've had for years is the Simpsons and 60 Minutes
(RIP Ed), both of which are older than Bart. But then, I didn't even know
who Jack Bauer was until republicans kept bringing up that we should be
fighting terrorism like Jack Bauer. This from the people who hate Hollywood
and still I wonder how Detective John Kimbal is my governor.
All the good show have been on premium channels for years and
there's always the Daily Colbert Report.
Or maybe it's a message from the sport gods telling you to get out and cut that damn grass.

I'm pretty much an HBO and FX show watcher but, Jericho and Bones aren't too bad for network TV. Jericho, although it doesn't contain top notch acting is addicting just because you want to know what's going to happen next. And Bones, well nothing too special, but it has a little more humor than some of the other CSI like shows.

I'll be watching Scrubs and The Shield when they both come out later this year/early next year respectively. Family Guy still holds my interest-although Sunday's episode wasn't as funny as previous. Technically this doesn't fall under this season's shows, but I have really gotten into Six Feet Under on Bravo. Granted, its highly edited and no longer the air I believe, but still is a damn good show-except for the gay brother love scenes. I could do w/o that in this show and The Shield. BTW, any release date for the new season of the Shield? In the past it has been around my anniversary.

Detroit Pistons 2004 NBA Champs
If looks could kill, I'd stare at everybody!

Achievements:
Scrubs is mandatory viewing. Dunno why they're subbing it as a midseason replacement. Especially now that's it's raging in syndication on Comedy Central and people are watching.
Studio 60 has potential, but it's been hit and miss every other episode. Good cast, but needs a little more oomph.
Heroes is GREAT. A little campy, but that's okay for a comic-driven serial.
Boston Legal has been having the best season yet. Denny Crane funny as ever, Spader in top form.
Nip-Tuck's been a little subdued, but still good F/X. I too am lookin forward to Courtney in Dirt.
Jericho. Great concept and imminently pertinent post 9-11. The cast is a little soft, but it could get better.
Lost was good as always, but still not tying up enough loose ends. WTF is that black smoke thing, goddamit!
Thursdays, other than The Office, are a wash. I can no longer stomach forensic CSI or court Law and Order shows.
SNL this season has been piss poor and they're already repeating reruns, presumably 'cause they can't find hosts?
I don't watch TV on Fridays, but Las Vegas is still fun to DVR to watch at another time just to stare at Vanessa Marcil.
Sundays are a wash too...although I've caught a few episodes of Brothers and Sisters...not bad for a serial drama, but I've had a thing for Sally Field ever since the Bandit.
Comedies are dead. Serial dramas back in.
24 starts in January. Hoo fucking ra. Dunno how they're gonna top last season, but they keep managing to do it.

Friday Night Lights is great. I don't understand why the ratings continue to struggle, maybe its the time slot. Anyway, it was just picked up for a full season run. I suggest you check it out.

Wow... You watch the four major networks? I forgot what channels those even are!
Other then Smallville, there are no first run shows on TV right now that really interest me."What we are dealing with here, is a complete lack of respect for the law" - Jackie Gleason, Smokey and the Bandit

They were great with Rabin but I prefer the Trevor Horn era over it. https://youtu.be/vzxZzIiO84Y?si=IXO5v330aLwUWUly https://youtu.be/DKYqvLF4tx8?si=EOHG7vRhHU_bUTbK
